The style of this large two-storey house evokes the past while being anchored in the modernity of our time. Very well soundproofed, it guarantees the privacy and calm necessary for relaxation. The rooms and all rooms of the gîte are independent and give you the impression of feeling at home. However, the hardwood floors, the rooms adorned with warheads and lintels, the chic country furniture, the paintings of renowned painters dressing the walls and the neat decoration are a reminder that one is in a unique place!
All the windows in the house open to let in the invigorating air of the river and overlook the beauty of the surrounding flora and fauna. Around the house, the undergrowth and the landscaped relaxation areas are perfectly integrated into their natural habitat.
The dining room
Enhanced with works of art and large windows overlooking the river, the bistro-style dining room is made up of small tables, ideal for sharing morning coffee and enjoying the gourmet breakfasts prepared by the hosts. These delicacies highlight local products from the Charlevoix region and house recipes. In summer, breakfast can also be enjoyed on the ground floor balcony overlooking the majestic river and the Massif.
Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and from 7:30 a.m. in winter.
The living room
Located on the ground floor of the gîte, the living room offers a cozy, intimate and warm atmosphere, perfectly suited for the moments of relaxation and leisure that one dreams of after a long day of cultural activities or in the open air. . Are available to guests: books and magazines for reading, board games, a television and a sound system. In winter, having an aperitif in front of the log fire which crackles in the hearth is the perfect remedy to warm frozen hearts and toes!
The rooms
The cottage has five air-conditioned bedrooms located upstairs. Tastefully and carefully decorated, the soundproofed rooms all have a private bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet. Each bedroom is fully equipped: large queen-size bed, bedside tables, cupboard for storing personal effects, small reading area, hair dryer, makeup mirror, full-size mirror. All bedroom windows open to let in the breeze from the river or the mountain. In addition, the furniture and bedding are of high quality to make your nights more restful and waking up more cozy.
